Egg Laying

I have been trying to get a GREAT pic of this for about 4 years. THis isn;t exactly what I wanted, I would have preferred the dragonfly were facing the camera. I whistled but it didn't turn around.

This lady is laying eggs. Nature is an amazing thing.. There is almost nothing left of the wings on this dragonfly but it is still doing its part for the survival of the species.. Almost to the dying breath,. I am sure.

Large is prolly the best way to see this one.
