Nurturing

Carrots from my allotment.  I thought I had lost them as the first one I pulled was woody inside.  To my delight the rest I picked where fine.  There is something very rewarding about harvesting something you have nurtured from a tiny seed through to mature plant.  The eating of them isn't too bad either!
