Bus Challenge No 127!!

Bristol Harbour

A trip into Bristol today to combine a Bus Challenge with an errand! I’d planned to take in three art exhibitions at different galleries, but hadn’t banked on the first one being shut on Mondays. So our first port of call was a sunny bench to sit and take in the views across Bristol Harbour. Second stop of the day was the library to pick up another French guidebook, then on to an art exhibition at the City Hall, followed by a second exhibition in the atmospheric cellars of Averys Wine Merchants.  Our final port of call was the waterside bar that you can see in the background, for a cider in the sun.

And talking of things in the background, you can just see the front of a Citroen HY Van, the same as M’s van, in which I was meant to be heading to France on my French Road Trip. And therein lies a story for tomorrow…
