To The Coast

A shorter ride today. To St Valery-sur-Somme. An excellent lunch on the bank of the estuary. Preceded by a coffee in bar with this gent enjoying a beer on the next table.

Then a pedal along the towpath of the Somme canal. Straight as a die and pancake flat for 12 miles back in to Abbeville. Group photo in extras.

A pizza dinner in the evening. Lost count of the number of jugs of rosé knocked back. Followed by a few of red to finish things off.
