Time passes

My lad turned 40 today! Where did that time go???
Lovely to speak with him via Skype earlier today; the big grands and number one son also left messages for him so, even though he is far away, we wished him well on his special day.
Spent most of the day catching up with chores etc but took myself off for some fresh air later in the afternoon for a stroll in the small nature park at Fremington. Did not find much apart from one ladybird who flew away, one demoiselle that did the same and loads of grasses blowing in the rather strong winds.  I liked the underside of this 'umbrella' with the sun on it. Extra is of the grasses - looking browned off after the heat last week.
