Look at me, I'm the Red Admiral queen!

After yesterday's exciting Red Admiral experience in the park, I went for a short stroll with B around the old cemetery (extra) across the road, and there were butterflies aplenty dashing around and dancing in pairs all over the place. I was a bit more prepared and put out my left hand with the camera focused on it, and one landed on my hand, flew off and then came back and settled for several seconds. They nearly landed on B as well.
On the way back, we discovered a tree that seems to be a roost for them, dozens of them fluttering about and taking shelter in cracks in the bark, but which they also seem to share with wasps. I know where I'll be heading next time I go there.
