An Interesting Day

The wind this morning made it quite hard to get some macro shots of the small flowers like the feverfew - but I did get some (move past the link and see more).

Today was the first time I have ever been chased by a very territorial bumble bee. 
There would appear to be a nest in one of the old nesting boxes and I was fairly close to it trying to untangle some hops from the bamboo. Result .... one angry bumble bee which chased me around the garden for ages.

Watching the rather eventful Grand Prix when we get a call for help from Bags ......... The Cygnet would apper to have picked up the bug that Squirrel had last week and had thrown up in quite spectacular fashion in the car when they were all going out for a treat. Unfortunately they had no cleaning equipment in the car.
So the pot of tea which was about to be poured had to be left (along with the Grand Prix) while we went on  rescue mission to drop off various  items to start cleaning up child and car, collect the monsters and get The Cygnet into a bath whilst Dad went and bought some specialist cleaning stuff.

So we will have a sick monster all day for the next two days.......again!
