Gannet in Flight

Just back from a wonderful day on Great Saltee Island off the South East Coast with fellow members and friends of Arklow Camera Club. In addition to being home to lots of Puffins and Razorbills plus a few Choughs, the island is home to over 6,000 breeding Gannets. Her comes one of them on his way in to land spot on to the one place he vacated among a seething mass of birds. Possibly more tomorrow on facebook. Will let you know.
