One of the downsides of holidays...

When we arrived back home in West Barns we were greeted by a lawn that had gone absolutely rampant and as it had rained heavily on the previous day it was sodden. Some of the tufts ofd grass were standing between 8 inches and a foot tall. I did not relish the thought of having to do at least a couple of cuts of the lawn in order to get on top of it again. However, luckily it was dry and windy the next day so I was able to tackle the first cut a couple of days later.
