Silver Studded Blue

Up at ridiculous o'clock was a good plan, but sadly my early flight took off an hour late.
Still the joy of travelling without luggage meant that 21 minutes after the wheels hit the tarmac I pulled out of the car hire garage - fab.
A quick coffee with a friend, a food shop and I was good to head back out - but my oh my oh my is it warm - touching 30° at 1200m. I headed up to Notre Dame de la Gorge and wandered along the river. Orchids everywhere, fields of colour and the air alive with butterflies. The Black Veined Whites and Speckled Woods were especially noticeable - but this lovely little blue stole my blip as they're usually too flighty for me.
