Sophie And A Sheepish Grin

After a morning swim, we met up with Kate, Joel & Sophie at the Agricultural School near them who were holding their annual Summer Country Fair.

It's an unusual, possibly unique, schooling that it's a state boarding and day school that specialises in all things agricultural (as well as the normal National Curriculum) for boys aged 11-17 who wish to follow a career in farming or related occupations. I did a fair bit of work there during my time as a consultant and, when I retired, they asked me to continue working with the English Dept on an advisory basis one day a week for a year, so it's a school I got to know well and it does a great job.

There were tractor rides and lots of other attractions, the boys exhibited their animals and there were plenty of opportunities for Sophie to pet the animals.
