Flower Friday
We met up with my sister and brother-in-law for a pub lunch at Priddy on the Mendips, then went for a stroll at Charterhouse.
The area is another of those on the Mendip Hills that was used for lead mining from Roman times right through to Victorian times and you can still see the brick tunnels, or chimneys, used in the process.
This water lily was in one of the ponds that fill the holes from the old diggings
