Cargo ships in Singapore
Our trip continued from Shanghai to Kuala Lumpur from where we took a transfer flight to Singapore. Looking from the plane it seemed like the whole city was surrounded by cargo ships queuing to the Singapore's port.
I fell in love with the city already the first day. The climate is just perfect and liked so many other things as well. However I don't know if I could live there permanently, because of the crazy political system. Oops, I should have not said that, it is not even allowed to criticize the parliament, meaning that they cannot have a real opposition party there. They even have a death penalty, and they kill dozens of people every year, I wouldn't call that a civilised country. "Disneyland with the Death Penalty" said William Gibson about Singapore.
Other small disappointment was that the city is made a bit too much for cars. It not as easy to walk or use a bicycle and cross the streets in there as it should or it is in some European cities. Of course this was even worse in Shanghai or Kuala Lumpur.
And then again I enjoyed my stay in there very much but not because of those things.
