The Jay Family

The jay family were back in the garden today.  These are the parents, and Junior is included in the extra.  Sometimes there are four of them.  I'm not sure if the third adult is an older sibling, or a helpful aunt maybe.  In this heat all the birds seem to accept each other.  Everyone gets a turn at the bird bath, and the jays are not their normal shy selves and are not mobbed by the other birds.

Waiting for the garage to finish my car MOT and service.  I know nothing major needs doing, just a few bits.  But I need to be at work in just over an hour, so I hope they're not much longer.
