The Shortest Day.....

Dawn on the Shortest Day of the year. The sun is just peeping over the edge of the hill. Again it was frosty on the flats in contrast to slightly warmer temperatures up on the hill tracks. A sunny cloudless day followed the dawn. Apparently the true winter solstice occurred at 4.24pm.
This evening Keith and I travelled to a "Solstice Supper" evening at the home of friends on their vineyard. We had a very entertaining evening.
