Another hot hot day

Went to Derwent Water this morning for a couple of hours and spotted this unusual sail.  Looks like a pirate boat.  Misty cooled off in the lake and swam with a couple of Newfoundlands and their owner.  Afterwards she flirted outrageously with a collie.  Sat on my favourite bench and had a drink and snack and then two chocolate labs arrived and one of them licked my snack and then went for Misty twice before its owner could grab him.  Misty didn't retaliate but she did get to eat the licked snack.  Another in extras of view with bog cotton.

Her best friend has come to stay for a week so she's a happy collie.  Had a walk on the marsh tonight to watch the sunset but it disappeared into cloud.  The tide was in and two haaf netters were out.  Rain tomorrow!  Thank so much for all the stars and hearts for yesterday's Buttermere reflections blip :)
