Everyone's favourite ..... the clown of the sea

A great couple of hours on the May Isle ..... thousands of birds on the sea, on the sheer cliff face, on top of the cliffs and in the air.

The highlight of the trip is seeing the puffins standing alone with a beakful of sand eels or standing in groups on top of the cliffs facing into the wind. So many photos it's hard to choose one.

Plenty of vicious Arctic Terns near the landing stage and then squeezed onto the smallest of ledges guillemots and razorbills squeeze together.
