On the march

Had our breakfast in Do Vigaro the nice little Cafe a few doors down from our apartment where we ate yesterday. Breakfast was delicious home made fig jam and big buttery croissants and perfect coffee. Ideal for coffee lover me.

We decided this year to walk up the Avenue de Liberdade under the trees and uphill to the Parque Eduardo which offers wonderful views of Lisbon. It was getting very warm after reaching the top so we sat in a lovely Cafe by a lake and enjoyed the shade. Wandered back down a different way and took pictures of the Jacaranda trees which are in full bloom with the purple flowers .

All this heat was making us thirsty so we stopped off indoors in Pois Cafe another favourite from last year.

First full day in Lisbon and so lovely being back in this City.
