Boat Bobbing and Chipolata Toes
When I came home from work this evening, I had a perfect reception - a cup of Earl Grey tea (well a pot actually) and a trug full of fresh cold water to plunge my feet into.
Perfect to cool down my throbbing feet, which after a day in an extremely hot office, my toes looked like a row of chipolata sausages, and I could hardly put one foot in front of the other to walk.
C also added that little extra - an RNLI boat, which Hector enjoyed bobbing for as though it was an apple. "Why did he add the boat" I hear you ask. Because he couldn't find a rubber duck of course.
The car thermometer read 35 degrees when I got in it this evening to drive home.
