Anglesey Abbey . . .

. . . a long way from Anglesey!!

Lord Fairburn left it to the NT in the 60's as long as it remained as it was when he died, and it is. You feel you could move straight in! Very different to some properties in that very little is out of bounds or cordoned off. The gardens are outstanding!!  We would have gone on the guided tour but it was just too hot. (Shouldn't moan! but . . .)
