it is pouring down here today, and am having a lazy day, so I thought I'd just do one more bit of the boat, and then that will be it for a long time.

this is a little cast iron charcoal stove we bought early on, before we got into such major restoration, just big enough to warm up the cabin on chilly nights. John made the bronze water well that will eventually sit outside on the cabin roof and I had the tiles specially painted for the back board by a nice lady I found on the net.

I have sunday papers, a new photography magazine and a new close up photography book to enjoy for the next couple of hours, then we are going to an early showing of the Disney movie 'Brave' in Glasgow - it is on at a closer cinema but Iain is coming so we want a showing with audio desctiption. being in town gives us the excuse to go to our favourite Italian eatery afterwards so that's a bonus!
