Rusty Splittie
I'm hesitant to tag this Derelict Sunday, as it's clearly meant to look like this and certainly, if you glance in the back, it's not derelict. Still... it's the look.
A rather fine and liquid assisted Barbecue at Greg and Catherine's, with his dad Noel and Mary, as a Father's Day summertime celebration. I think all the dads got calls or cards from all their children, and after the bbq we (or at least Greg and I) staggered up to the village fete, where this lovely splitter was on display. See the extra for the engine compartment.
I may be Back Blipping for a few days, as we're taking our own slightly newer but still venerable T4 down to Devon for some seaside time. It will be the first actual holiday we've had since Janet's transplant, and the weather forecast is "hotter still"! The rest of the day's photo's, including a different version of Greg's blip, are of course on Flickr...
...and if you're not a Father or your children can't be with you today, brightest blessings for the week ahead anyway.
