Great Northern Diver

Another long day on the road today to transfer to our final location for the trip. More amazing scenery enjoyed along the way along with a pause at Folaldafoss waterfall, it's in a really stunning location, but we arrived in a gale making a venture down the hill to be closer to the waterfall unwise, 1/6th second with the camera firmly held into a picnic table gave a respectable result though!

Having settled into our accommodation and eaten dinner we went for a drive round the lake and were really lucky to see this Great Northern Diver. Alas it was a little distant for my lens, but fantastic to see one for the first time.
