It's a funny thing that with the first real whiff of a wintery day, and no-one wants to leave the house. Last weekend and the long lingering autumn-like weather had all and sundry out and about. We had a great run in the cafe. This week, nah, not interested. We Aussies are such fusspots about cold and rain. In a week or two, we'll have habituated I hope.
It was fantastic to walk along the beach at twilight and enjoy the glassy gulf water and the slash of post-sunset light. Canine companion loved it.
