Norwich Cathedral
(Backblip)
Since the weather was due to be very changeable today we decided to do something indoors. We completely missed Norwich the last time we were in Norfolk! The cathedral was pretty damn impressive with an insane amount of preserved medieval wall painting and artwork. Not to mention a Saxon stone likeness of St. Felix which still had paint on it! I can only think it was repainted at a later date... either that or I was staring at 1200 year old paint. I did definitely see 500 year old paint, and 900 year old stone work that was in just about perfect condition, including entire walls!
The sun obliged and came out with the dramatic clouds in the background to allow for this shot at just the right time. I was pretty chuffed with this!
