Peace?

Almost. But not quite.
Sitting here in the sun on a wooden bench. At ones feet a hillside rich in orchids, oxeye daisies and other wonders. Lift your eyes and there are the sands and channels of Morecambe Bay for as far as you can see. And I have not altered the colours.
Yes it is wonderful. But one cannot erase from the back of ones mind the tragedies and horrors which are not too far away. What a contrast.
