Weevil
I saw this critter on a tiny daisy this morning at Hughes Hollow. I wasn't sure what it was and after I got it up on the screen at home, I still wasn't sure what it was. It has a long nose that has two appendages and after a little googling, I have determined that it is some sort of weevil, possibly a boll weevil. Just to give you some perspective on size, the Fleabane Daisy head is about 1/2 - 3/4 inches across. I am awaiting an ID from the Capital Naturalist and will update this when I know.
