Tiny Tuesday: Common Green Darner
It is fiercely hot and humid today, so Wendy and I decided to leave at 7 am for Lake Artemesia. It wasn't early enough because it was miserably hot by 8. We spent a few hours there, seeing Orioles, a Ceder Waxwing, a flycatcher, three herons in one tree, a variety of butterflies and dragonflies. I thought this beauty would be suitable for Tiny Tuesday. I captured it with the 150-600 lens so I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was sharp. It is better in Large.
We were a couple of sad sacks by about 10 and called it a day.
Thanks very much to isbi who is hosting Tiny Tuesday for the month of June.
