Saturday: Vrbnik

We have now arrived at our final destination on our holiday.  We left Veli Lo?inj this morning and after two hours drive and a ferry ride have now arrived in Vrbnik, on the island of Krk.  

Vrbnik is a tiny town built on a cliff overlooking the sea.  It has grown up around an ancient centre and is completely pedestrianised, mainly because the streets are too narrow for any vehicles. It consists of about five connecting streets and that is it. We seem to be drawn to tiny places.  

We have both been a little unwell today so have had a slow start here. It was probably something we ate.  But then again, we don't want to rush into exploring everything immediately.....we need to leave something for tomorrow.

We did manage a little foray into the main square tonight.
