Birds are back

I had stopped putting food in the bird feeders because of the mean, nasty squirrels but I saw a house finch sitting on the deck rail so I put more food out.   Then the whole family came by!   Not only the male and female house finch, but also the male and female goldfinch.   I had to take these through the window which is very spotted.   The dove was on the deck eating the sunflowers seeds that the other birds dropped.    The cardinals are really too big for all but one of the feeders but they have been coming to feed also.    So far we have been able to scare the squirrels away by banging on the window.    I wish the squirrels would go visit someone else's yard!
