Off-road

We went out on the mountain bikes today, just under 10miles down to Muirshiel country park visitor centre by road then the last 10miles mainly off road to get home in a very pleasing loop.

My bike handling skills were tested to their (meagre) limits. Decided to put the foot down a few times discretion being the better part of valour. It ended up deep in water on more than one occasion although I did get through the puddle above without incident. It did make the decision to just wade through the river easy though as we couldn't get any wetter below the knee.

Great fun, then showered and off to west on the corner for a late lunch washed down with a couple of beers.
