Upper Valley
Today we drove up to see the farm where Ronnaug Aasmundstad, my great-grandmother, was probably born, and then continued on up to poke around until it was time to drive back down and head for Lillehammer. We saw more than one new mud slide from the heavy rain we were in late yesterday when Kristin and Gustav showed us the Kongsli summer farm on a different road.
I don't know anything about the farm in this picture except that it was up so high; sheep and building both clung to the hillside by not very much.
