Murder, Mystery - Backblip

This morning I bade a sad farewell to Party Girl (granddaughter) and family to spend time with the other Granny and Grandpa at a Murder, Mystery afternoon at the Ramsey Rural Museum.  It was a great show ....  Who killed Ida Down?  a singer, femme fatale and widely loathed  by  many women for her various dalliances with husbands, boyfriends and as it turned out by her Father, William Filicide, too.
The notorious Ida Down in Extra posing with the more than dubious and very suspicious Mavis Ponsonby!

Two of the likely female suspects are in my blip, Peggy Entwistle and the very beautiful Rosemary Hicks but after much questioning and note taking of all suspects it turned out that the vital clue of the killer was all in the name, that of the male suspect in my blip, William Filicide ......  Filicide: of Latin origin meaning a person who kills their son or daughter.  Ida was William Filicide's daughter who by devious means stole all his money.

After all the questioning of suspects was concluded, cream teas enjoyed and Charge Sheets handed in it transpired that not one of the participating jurors, us included, identified the killer.  What a great show.

No peace for the wicked, we went out again this evening to a very nice Indian Restaurant and a very nice meal we had too.

Seriously tired now but what a fabulous Birthday weekend it's been.
