Shades of Green

High winds, cloud on the hills and squally showers (the rain swept through after this photo was taken). It doesn't feel like flaming June at all, but it is green and verdant everywhere and the woods are full of noisy woodpecker chicks!

This view is from Lanthwaite Woods looking towards Lanthwaite Green Farm and Gasgale Gill beyond, with the slower slopes of Whiteside (left) and Grasmoor (right).
