Monorail Squirrel Offline for Maintenance*

Ah, summertime, when the livin' is easy and the squirrels are . . . flat? This was the scene on our deck railing on this morning. Someone had let the air out of one of our squirrels. It was flat as a pancake!

The cat was by the deck doors pitching a fit, and flailing his tail around wildly, as he does when some other critter has taken over "his" deck. So I looked out and saw this scene.

Do not worry. The squirrel is fine. A minute after this photo, it twitched its lovely tail, then jumped into the bushes and disappeared!
