Throwdown Showdown

We went to the Contemporary Craft Festival at Bovey Tracey this morning. There were lots of interesting stalls and demonstrations and I quite enjoyed the Pottery Showdown at which there were a couple of the potters who got to the final of the BBC Great Pottery Throwdown. My blip is of Freya showing her skills on the wheel while some less experienced potters competed to throw two pots in ten minutes with mixed results.

The weather has been pretty mediocre. It's been mizzle all day and although the sun tried to come out several times, the mizzle never gave up. I'm hopeful that we might get a better day tomorrow.
