Fledged
I was really pleased to see this little blue tit fledge from the box in the garden. It seems like I have been watching and waiting for days and luckily I saw it's head popping out and then with a flap of it's wings it was off and landed in the clematis. It's hidden itself away now and the parent seems abit confused coming back and checking the box and realising it's not there. The baby is soon found though and given a feed. There only seems to be one, not surprising considering the very wet weather we have been having. I have a bucket under a drip from the gutter and it has been full twice and is half full again.
David's 25th birthday today. He's celebrating with a friend today and we're going out for Pizza tomorrow.
Hoping the Indian family are not feeling too cold. They came from a temperature of 47 degrees and it's only 17 degrees here, probably colder if you add the wind chill but the sun has been out and it's dry at the moment.
