After the bliss of a whole day without politics on the telly yesterday, we're back to blanket coverage again today. I have election overload syndrome! Mum and I got away from it by taking her friend Hazel for hot drinks and toasted tea cakes at the local cafe. I had an uneventful drive over to the flat this afternoon in time for a routine scan, which was more uncomfortable than usual because of my dratted frozen shoulders.
I had a good old chinwag with my lovely neighbours from over the road, Allen and Vince, and a catch-up with my upstairs neighbour Maralyn too. It's quite strange that I stop for chats with two sets of neighbours now, in both Essex and Bucks. Just putting my feet up for the evening which I'm really enjoying, though thinking of Mum and hoping she's okay on her own.
Flower shots taken outside Waitrose, always a good standby!
