Views from my patio

What different views today...to the left a beautiful sea scene and to the right another fire over the village. Fortunately there was little wind so it remained in the west end, but the folk there were ready to evacuate at one stage. The firefighters have been there all day and will remain tonight - another fire has started closer to us.
Our community has been amazing and the firefighters have been very well fed through the day!!
The Knysna fires are being brought under control - I have contacted my friend who is safe. Hubby's brother's holiday home was nearly burnt down but the fire was stopped just before the building - the garden and all garden furniture are gone.
Wow, it's been a tough few days.
Our daughter S is busy in Plettenberg bay co-ordinating the disaster relief. She's a real trooper.
