Gathering speed

I love the way the baby elephants gather speed when they approach waterholes.
Sister M and I spent the day at the Addo National Park today where we had wonderful animal sightings. We spent over an hour at a waterhole where we watched eight large herds of elephants coming down to drink. At times the car was completely surrounded by ellies...what a privilege to be part of this...
It was so difficult choosing photos from the hundreds I took...the extras are of a spotted hyaena, a beautiful baby zebra, and an ellie in playful mood.
