Empty Pool

As forecast for the last week or so today the clouds descended. The forecast had actually been for the weekend so our two days of rain has arrived a little late.

Torrential rain most of the day, and lots of thunder and lightening. Apart from going out in the morning to the bar for breakfast, and a quick visit to the supermarket we have not been out today. We were lucky with this brief outing as we were able to walk down to the village and back in a gap between showers.

The internet seems to have been affected by the weather, it was very slow today, to the point of being almost unusable, which has further delayed my attempts at catching up on Blips after the departure of our visitor.
