Cloud Inversion
The cloud inversion hung around all morning, then pleased to say that it cleared this afternoon, so it has been nice and sunny.
I took this photo this morning at Bremner Bay, just as the clouds were burning off. I like the effect of the clouds and mountains reflected in the still water. I had to walk out a fair way before I got to the lake edge.
I went for a walk by the lake this afternoon, then a nice cuppa with friends. Another Friday, so another weekend. I hope yours is a good one.

Year 1928 : NZ news
Tour de France : A New Zealander, Harry Watson was part of the first English speaking team to take on the Tour de France. He and his 3 team mates from Australia were among the 162 riders who started the race. Only 41 riders finished the race, Harry being one of them, coming in at 28th. They rode on steel bikes, with no gears and marginal brakes. There is a new documentary out called "Le Ride', which is about attempting to recreate the original race. Not sure if it is a world wide film or just for NZ audiences.
