Broom at 3 stages
A curse in this country really as it spreads like wildfire on farmland and through native and pine forest. However it does have its uses in coastal areas to hold together the ever shifting sands. I have caught this one in the sun with three stages- flowering, petal drop and a seedpod.
Thanks to Biker Bear who deserves a medal for continuing the perennial challenge of Flower Friday.
It has been another drop dead gorgeous day after a frost. Sunny with a light breeze. It just means you need to rug up a little more. I did get a walk in and spent most of the rest of the day making two boilings of marmalade. I have been putting it off with all sorts of excuses but the mandarins were wasting so job done. Polishing my halo as we speak. There are plums in the freezer waiting to be made into plum sauce too. Always something.
