I am back at uni Monday, a week late and am trying my hardest to get 'The Emigrants' by George Lamming read! The last book of his I read for uni, 'In the Castle of My Skin', was absolutely mind numbing. I hated it! And told her so in the seminar. This one isn't too bad.. But I've still got 200 pages to go for Tuesday which if I actually stopped procrastinating I could very easily do!
Mum is coming through for a quick hello tomorow; three hours travel for a hello seems crazy but I can't wait to see her all the same!
When she leaves at 3pm I shall be on a blooming mission to read as much as I can before Mr T gets home at 9pm and requires feeding (and xfactor!)
I have in the fridge, chilling, a pink pistachio and cherry cheesecake for mum and carol tomorrow - I have a horrible feeling its not going to work - new recipie!
