Old Friends.............

.............in more ways than one! Carol (my wife, 3rd from the left) went out to dinner with our dear friends Jonathan and Jenne (end two on the right) and Bob and his wife Gloria (end two on the left). Jonathan and I worked together for the best part of 30 years and Bob was our colleague from the US, he and Gloria now live in Nashville, Tennessee. Bob was over for a business trip (he is still working, unlike Jonathan and I) and Gloria came along for the ride, her first visit to the UK. They were staying in London and whilst Bob was travelling all over, Gloria spent her time sightseeing, London, Salisbury and Bath. Their hotel in London was close to Borough Market, where the terrorist attack took place last Saturday, fortunately they were in bed at the time!! You just never know!!
