Photojournalism at its best again! Flooded streets! Pouring all day, it was. The tattie shaws getting well knocked about. So I thought I'd take myself off to a movie - there wasn't a lot on but a friend had very much enjoyed The Red Turtle, an animated film with no dialogue. Jeesus, I thought it was awful - Jonathan Livingston Seagull meets Tintin. I went back to read the reviews - I'm wrang, it's lauded by everyone - and five stars from Kermode. One comment writer however did note that their eight year old found it a bit of a slog...
