So, you've trashed the computer that runs your video display.

It probably broke because you just pulled the plug on the computer, rather than waiting for it to shut down. Yeah, as a techy I know why you shouldn't do that, as a human I know why you do. I have spent ages fuming, waiting for a computer to shut down cleanly.

But if it doesn't work, why leave the display on? Seriously? This display of broken-ness isn't going to sell those ludicrous shoes! It's just going to make me associate your whole store with broken-ness. Which is probably what happens to the ankles of half of the folk who buy your shoes!

Still, I'll bet it's not your fault. I'll bet some senior person in your company has said that you must run this display, and has no dispensation for the display being broken.

But t still looks silly...

Actually, I'm thinking that this may be a project... Error messages from computers in places where you don't expect to see them...
