It's been a wee bit DRAUGHTY today.
Barely stirred all day. No pressing reason plus weather a light year or two short of clement.
p.m. "The Gas Man cometh". (With apologies to Flanders & Swann)
What a grand chap.
It wasn't "I'll be there Tuesday."
Not even "I'll be round a.m. / p.m."
it was ... "I'll see you between 3 and 4 o'clock."
By 15:00 he'd been, done it and gone.
Between raindrops (0.8" over last 24hrs) I had one or two of my "wander & watch" sessions. I am absolutely positive the sub-aquatic area/volume/weight vastly outstrips that of its aerial equivalent, it still succumbed and was twice rescued. I must have been more successful second time, I see it's still erect.
