Sunrise from the bike shed

Fog rolled over the city this morning. Thick. Grey. Deep. Before I left for work, I took the photo I have posted as an extra in which only the top one or two storeys of the two about 20 story apartment buildings in Herne Bay can be seen.

The main photo was taken just after I arrived on my bike at the hospital. The sun was much more orange because of lingering fog (it had come quickly, and went again almost as quickly). I took it through the (very dirty) window of the bike shed.
