Mono Monday challange -Conventgirl

My name mostly comes from the fact that I live in a house that was once a convent. It started out as the priests house but in the 1950's the church built him a house attached to the actual church and 8 nuns moved into his old one. What is now our sitting room used to be the chapel. Sunday school was held in what probably started out as a large storeroom in the garden. Over the years I have met several people who remember the nuns and/or attended Sunday school.
Another reason for the name is that my sister attended a Convent School but I went to the Grammar. I felt hard done by because I have always felt that Convent girls had a rather racy and fun reputation (rather like St Trinians and Mallory Towers - although neither of them were convent schools). So, after 30 odd years I claimed the name for myself.
